Entrepreneurial Wellness: Managing Our Most Important Asset
In treating the entrepreneur population my focus is just as much in treating the symptoms as it is on restructuring how they think. I do this by leaning on two very old philosophical texts; the Art of War, and the Dao De Jing. These two books have very different purposes – one being warfare and the other the pursuit of virtue. However, despite this they share a lot of common themes which are just as applicable to running a business as they are to running a country, or running our own lives.

Winter: East and West
The Chinese see the seasons differently than we do in the West. Humans are considered an extension of their environment. They observed that the environment reacts in certain ways with the seasons, and believe that we do too.

Combat Summer Heat with Traditional Chinese Medicine
With the hotter months comes all the staples of summer; oppressive heat, high humidity, and biting sun. As the temperatures climb our bodies are subjective to rapid and intense changes, which in turn can lead to a number of health issues unique to this time of year.
